FAQ - [scroll down to order]
We use Paypal to process
transactions - there are a few hoops to jump through in terms of
subscribing to Paypal to make purchases.
If you're purchasing something over $2,000 you will
need to allow paypal to verify your bank account and email address.
This entails them charging some small amount like 2 cents to your
account and you telling them the amount. You'll then need to raise
the spending limit on your account prefferences.
All floating licenses will float across
platforms (win32/64, linux32/64, OSX intel/ppc) so long as there is
a properly configured shared network connection. For a license to
float, all target machines and server must be on the
same subnet and TCP/IP must be enabled and working, and port 2764 must be open on any firewalls.
For a nodelock license to work, you need to have
TCP/IP enabled (and a network card). You don't need to be connected,
but make sure power saving functions in your control panel won't
turn off the un connected card or protocall before you inquire about
a key.
We currently support Maya 8.0 and
8.5 and Maya 2008. OSX. We only support 3 maya versions at a time,
so when we release a new one, we drop an old one.
Node lock licenses are not
"upgradable" into floating license packs, since there is no way to terminate the license.
This license is for Maya
only.
We strive for the highest
quality, individual quality support - but to avoid abuse, individual
support and upgrades are at our option and may at some time be
accompanied by an upgrade fee. All software is sold as-is (no
lawsuits, ok?).
Floating licenses are sold in packs of 6 and are issued via email. Your old HASP dongles will continue to work for 5.0, but to purchase additional licenses or upgrade past 5.0, you will have to switch over to the new license server. There is no charge to switch if you do it now, but you will not be credited your original licenses (on your new key) until we recieve the old dongle back.
